Lewis and Clark The American Volkssport Association introduces the Lewis and Clark Special Program. This program began on January 1, 2003 and runs through December 31, 2007. This time period will encompass the Lewis and Clark Bi-Centennial years of 2003 to 2006 and gives everyone an extra year to complete the program. AVA invites Volkssporters of all ages to walk in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark as they made their way from Camp Dubois, Illinois to Fort Clatsop, Oregon in this history making expedition. Program cost is $7.00 and gets you the Special Program stamp book and the patch when a walk has been completed in each of the 11 trail states.
