Start Location Envisions, Inc. Start/Finish Times Start between 9 a.m. and 12 noon Event will be held regardless of weather conditions. No refunds will be given. Award "A" award is a patch. Only 25 will be available.
Registration Costs
You may pre-register no later than March 25th. No refunds. Payment should be made by check
payable to: Eligibility All ages are welcome. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
5km (3.1 miles) and 10km (6.2 miles) trails will be available. Walk is rated 1+. Trail will be along city streets, sidewalks and paths. Trail may not be clear of snow due to any recent storms. Pets
Directions to start/finish point From the west on I-80, take Highway 370 exit (exit # 439). Turn east on Highway 370 for about 6 miles to S 84th Street (also called South Washington) Turn right on S 84th Street a short distance to Olson Drive on your left. Turn left onto Olson Drive and follow road around to start/finish point. From the east on Highway 370 turn left onto Towne Center Pkwy. There are two turn lanes you want to be in the right hand lane as you will be turning right onto Olson Drive a short distance after turning onto Toune Center Pkwy. Turn right onto Olson Drive and follow road around to start/finish. From the east on I-80 take the 84th Street exit (exit # 448). Turn south on 84th street and follow it south several miles to Highway 370. Cross Highway 370 and turn left onto Olson Drive. Follow road around to start/finish. Special Programs none
Stipulations With registration for this event, the participant accepts the guidelines for AVA Volkssport events, agrees to observe the principles of good sportsmanship, and will not litter. At the start of each walk each person must obtain a Start Card (with the exception mentioned above) which must be carried throughout the walk and must be filled out with the participants's name and address. The card is to be validated at the Control Point(s). Walkers missing a control point may be refused credit. All Start Cards are the property of the Nebraska Wanderfreunde Trailblazers and should be turned in at the completion of the walk. Pets are not allowed in buildings. Service animals
are welcome anywhere, of course. Please be prepared to meet the
